IF PerformAIR FALLS OUT...

it is either the wrong size or needs some minor adjustments.

TO KEEP PerformAIR IN PLACE:

1.     CHECK THE SIZE

2.     MAXIMIZE CONTACT OF THE PADS on the outer walls of the nose

3.     INCREASE THE OUTWARD PRESSURE of the ARMS & PADS

1.    CHECK THE SIZE

Confirm the size is correct by placing your thumb between the two nasal pads.  If it pushes the pads out - use the next size up, if your thumb does not touch the pads, use the next size down, if your thumb just brushes the inside of the pads - start with that size.

Once the proper size is confirmed, the adjustments for the retention of PerformAIR in your nose are pretty simple - there are two primary adjustments:

NOTE - THIS IS A TOUGH MEDICAL GRADE RESIN AND IT CAN BE MOVED AND SHAPED SIGNIFICANTLY...MAKE THE ADJUSTMENTS YOU NEED.

2.     ADJUST THE PADS

MATCH THE ANGLE & SLOPE OF YOUR NOSE

The nasal pads should have as much contact with the outer wall of your nose as possible

                 A.     Looking down on top of the dilator (front or open end away from you) - adjust the ANGLE of the pads to match the angle of your nose by adjusting the front end of the pads inward or outward

               B.     Looking from the FRONT of the dilator (open end facing you) - adjust the SLOPE of the pads to match the slope your nose by twisting the top edge of the pad leaning it inward or outward.

3.     SPREAD THE PADS APART

PULL THE PADS, ARMS & LEGS APART (OUTWARDLY)

much wider than you think, this is a tough medical grade resin.

The ARMS and PADS will stay opened up - make them wider than your nostrils.

Pinch the dilator together at the bottom (bridge & legs) and place in your nose with the tips or ends of the PADS pointing away from your face.

Push the bridge or bottom of PerformAIR up to rest at the bottom of your nostrils.

If the outward pressure on the walls of your nose it is too much, remove it and squeeze the pads and arms together a bit (not much) - and try the fit again.

Repeat as needed for optimized performance, fit, comfort and retention.

PerformAIR will open up in your nasal airway by increasing outward pressure on the outer walls of your nose.   This outward pressure is also holds it in place.
